Dairy-free milks are coming in hot and fast these days and I like it!!
This is my recipe for super easy and delicious hemp milk. It’s made with, you guessed it, hemp hearts. Hemp hearts are little powerhouses. They are a complete protein and contain omegas 3 and 6 plus other amazing nutrients like iron, magnesium and fibre (just to name a few!)
The BEST part about this recipe is that there’s no pre-soaking required like with most nut milks. AND no need to strain through a nut-milk bag (literally the worst part about making almond milk).
If you haven’t before, give hemp milk a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup hemp hearts
- 2 cups filtered water
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1 medjool date, pitted
- cinnamon a pinch or so
Instructions:
-
Place all ingredients in a blender
-
Blend on medium-high until combined
-
Pour in a glass jar and store in the fridge
