
I have a smoothie every morning for breakfast. I came up with this recipe when I was getting a little tired of my usual green smoothies. The blueberries add so much sweetness and the ginger gives it that zing. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- handful leafy greens
- 1/2 or 1 frozen banana
- small piece of ginger
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 scoop protein powder** optional
- water or non-dairy milk
Instructions

Place all ingredients in your blender and away you go. Add as much or as little water as you need
Recipe Notes
** For this smoothie I try to use a natural flavoured protein powder, as any flavoured powder will change the taste
