
I make these about once a month! They are so simple and delish and my go-to for a protein boost to my lunches. You can skip the browning on the stove top and opt to just put them right into the oven if you wish.
Easy & Delicious Turkey Meatballs
Ingredients:
- 1 lbs ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (I use just under 1/4 tsp)
- 1/2 tsp dried mixed herbs (my favourite is herbs de Provence, but you can use Italian if you like)
- 2 tsp tamari sauce
- 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
- pinch of paprika
- salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 F
- Mix all ingredients together and form into 12 meatballs
- Heat a cast-iron skillet to medium heat with some avocado oil
- Place meatballs into skillet to get brown on all sides, shaking them in the pan every few minutes
- Place skillet in oven and cook for about 15-20 mins, or until internal temperature reaches 165 F
